Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the concept of intellectual security among the students of Hail University, Baqaa branch.

The study population (1022) students for the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019.

A random sample selected (253).

A questionnaire of 33 items was developed, divided into three areas: curricula, faculty members, and activities conducted by the University.

The results of the study showed that the most prominent concepts of intellectual security promoted by the university were ranked first through the curriculum.

The results also showed that the extent of ownership of students at Hail University came to a medium degree.

And the existence of differences of statistical significance in the concept of intellectual security due to the variable specialization and the academic year and in favor of the primary and fourth year.

One of the most important recommendations of the study was the need to activate the role of Hail University in enhancing the intellectual security of its students in order to fight deviant and extremist thought.

The need to encourage female students to participate in university activities in order to enable them to participate actively in intellectual and social issues.
