This research attempts to shed light on the religious impact on the Jews in Palestine through the letters of Rabbi Obadiah Bertinoro، Which is among the most important of what was mentioned by Jewish travelers in the Mamluk era، and to compare what he reported with Jewish travelers or other contemporaries of him، and The scope of the research included Jerusalem and Hebron due to its importance Among the Jews، as well as to see what the Jewish travelers from the West reported to the Muslim East، The conversation will be limited to the religious vision of the holy places and its impact on them.

The study was divided into two topics، the first focused on the definition of the life of Rabbi Obadiah Bertinoro and the itinerary of his journey، and talk about his messages and their content and translations of those messages، While the second dealt with the description of the holy places، and the religious impact of them on the Jews، and the researcher decided to follow the method of analysis، comparison and criticism، The study relied on many studies related to the research topic written in English، Hebrew، Arabic، and others.
