Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on the six hats strategy in developing teaching competencies in the field of planning, implementation, and evaluation of intellectual education teachers, where the study sample consisted of (39) teachers from intellectual education teachers at the institute of intellectual education and intellectual handicap programs attached to education schools the year in Taif governorate.

the study was based in its design on the semi-experimental approach of one experimental group with pre-and post-measurement, and the study also used a list of teaching competencies prepared by the researcher, and a training program based on the six hats strategy in developing some teaching competencies prepared by the researcher, and a note card for teaching competencies-prepared by the researcher.

the results of the study found that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the average scores of the teachers in the post and pre-measurement in the field of planning, implementation, and evaluation competencies in favor of the post measurement, and in the total score on the observation card of the teaching competencies of the intellectual education teachers.

the total value is (0.99).

it is attributed to the training program based on the six hats strategy in developing some teaching competencies for intellectual education teachers.

the study recommended holding training programs on teaching competencies for intellectual education teachers on a regular basis by supervisors and supervisors in the department of special education in the regions.
