Abstract EN

This study aimed to the determination of the obstacles lying behind the implementation of the cooperative learning strategy among general education students, the deaf and hearing-impaired students, in the elementary and intermediate stages in Yanbu governorate.

The researcher used the descriptive survey method in addition to the questionnaire as a tool for collecting the data required for this study.

The study population consisted of all male and female teachers who were working in all the integration schools in Yanbu governorate in the elementary and intermediate stages.

The study has concluded a set of results as follows: The study sample individuals responded with "agree" with high degree to the effect of collaborative learning strategy on improving integration and cooperation with public education students and deaf and hearing impaired students, the results showed that the members of the study sample agreed, to a moderate degree, upon the obstacles that hinder the implementation of the cooperative learning strategy for deaf and hearing-impaired students.

In addition, the results of the study pointed out that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample members according to (the number of years of experience, the educational level, stage teacher).

On the other hand, it concluded that there were sex variable differences for the favor of the male.

Based on the results, the researcher recommended: providing the teachers with required authorities and liabilities in order to be able to apply cooperative learning for deaf and hearing-impaired students; in addition to provide the required financial support to buy the furniture required for cooperative learning such as; chairs and tables.
