The study aimed to know the properties Dinder barn area through ceramic practicals.

In order to get know possibility to take advantage as its sticky clay for mixtures.

Also to include it in the composition of glaze and under glaze.

The sample was subjected to tests for particle size, X-ray Florence (XRF) then component are spotted.

Ceramic shaping techniques were used through casting by molds, pinching, coiling and slabbing.

The sample entered in clay mixtures with kaolin sample of Marawei, potassium feldspar and quartz.

Also it was used in glaze and under glaze mixtures with lead oxide and borax.

It turns out that the sample cannot be used alone in manufacturing ceramics because of its alkaline clay which is easy to melt and it has high plasticity, but can work as sticky clay entered in clay mixtures by percentage between 25% to 50% as maximum, it’s preferable that it does not exceed heating temperature of 1100 C degree, and also it can use for manufacturing low temperature glaze.
