Since the beginning of the education of women in Sudan in 1907, by the effort of Al Sheikh Babekir Badri, and his recognize the early need of women in Sudan to education, to raise her awareness and to get her out of the darkness of ignorance and illiteracy to become more effective in her community.

Ahfad University has adopted a set of objectives aimed at promoting women's education and development in all fields to play a prominent and responsible role in society and in the process of building a modern state in education and scientific research.

The importance of music and singing in the mission of the university through the lyrics of songs that carry the philosophy of the university in accordance with its stated goals.

This is done by translating them into lyrical texts performed by the university's coral, as well as training the students to play with a group of musical instruments.

There are also groups of music to play with in different schools and faculties of the university according to their scientific programs.

Ahfad Coral has participated in various public events in response to the calls of media institutions and others, as well as other corals, which had a clear impact on the demand of students and their families to enroll them in the university's diverse schools.
