Abstract EN

The study aims to activate the concept and vocabulary of the dwelling according to the Islamic curriculum and content for the interior space and its residents.

In its procedures, the study adopted the descriptive approach for its relevance and the nature of the study.

The study tool (the questionnaire) was also adopted as a main tool in collecting data and information from the sample under study.

The study sample consisted of a group of (The Jordanian recipient) in the Jordanian capital / Amman, and after the procedures for describing and analyzing the data statistically, the most important results of the study concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the respondents’ answers indicating the importance of using Islamic architectural standards and elements in the interior spaces of the interior design in the dwelling from the Jordanian recipient’s point of view.

In the conclusion of the study, the researcher recommended the need to conduct deeper studies of the values and functions of the Islamic home and its internal spaces in the light of scientific and international experiences related to the study of various architectural and design methods to design healthy, safe and comfortable interior spaces for use for those spaces and their residents, according to the provisions of the Shari’s of privacy, concealment, blindness and the preservation of comfort.
