Abstract EN

The research aims at the relationship between economic growth of public expenditure in Jordan for the period 2014-1985 analysis) in the short and long term, and testing theses theory interpreted the relationship between these two variables, the hypothesis Wagner Wagner's law holds that causation is moving from economic growth to public expenditure, while there is a relationship causal were positive trending of public expenditure to economic growth in light of proposals Keynesian, in this study, the use of modern measurement methods tests stability of time cries and co-integration, angel - granger and methodology of Johansen-Celeos 1 and vector error correction model (VECM) and causal granger.

the test results showed that the public spending and economic growth characterized by feature of unit root and they were on a joint co-integration relationship, and indicate the results of the statistical model there is two-way causal relationship in the short-term and long-term trending from economic growth to public spending, and vice versa.
