Abstract EN

The study aimed to highlight the effectiveness of radio programs in the management of health crises and to know the role played by the radio in spreading health awareness of health programs provided by Gedaref Radio and the role of health programs in reducing health crises (epidemiology - water diarrhea model), the researcher followed the descriptive and analytical and historical approach, The following research tools have been used: Observation, interview and questionnaire in the collection of information, where the study reached important results, most notably: The most common means by which the health programs are identified are audio (Radio Gedaref).

The sample of the respondents reported that they benefited from Radio Gedaref in health awareness and epidemic control.

There is a use of different media and communication (such as direct communication, seminars, workshops ...etc) to reduce health crises There is a shortage of space for health programs in Gedaref Radio.

Recommendations the need to increase the time period of health programs Gedaref radio, especially your doctor program with us and a health window,the need to coordinate with the Ministry of Health and Radio in terms of improving the performance of health programs presented radio state Gedaref , the need to pay attention to the work of continuous home visits, because direct contact is of benefit and value to the recipients of the message and quick impact.
