Abstract EN

The study aims to reveal the new importance given by the Covid-19 pandemic to the right to non-discriminatory access to the benefits of science as included in article 27 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and article 15(1)(b) of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights according to which states have an obligation to secure international cooperation for the access to the vaccine, and it results that Corona pandemic has revealed structural imbalances in the realization and practice of this right caused by social inequalities, and the depth of the scientific and technological progress gap between countries.

Therefore recovery from Covid 19 requires Guidance on human rights and the humanitarian principles applied in pandemics.
