Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the degree of private basic schools principals possession of leadership skills and it’s relationship with teachers classroom performance from principals and teachers point of view in Jordan.

the sample of the study consists of (45) principals, male and female, and (140) teachers, male and female from private basic schools principals and teachers in Amman the capital of Jordan.

the study used questionnaire as the study tool after insuring it’s validity and stability.

the study concluded that the degree of private basic schools principals possession of leadership skills from their teachers point of view was average and the teachers classroom performance from their principals point of view was average and there was close relationship with statistical significance at (α=0.01) level between the degree of private basic schools principals possession of leadership skills and the level teachers classroom performance in Jordan.

the study concluded several recommendations such as working on raising the degree of private basic schools principals’ possession of leadership skills through specialized courses in this field and purosefull educational sessions.
