Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the role of childhood female teachers in promoting healthy food culture from the perspective of female teachers in hail city.

In order to achieve this, the researcher has adopted a survey descriptive approach.

The questionnaire was used as an instrument for data collection.

The sample consisted of (96) female teachers at kindergarten and primary classes at only government schools following East Hael's office.

The results of the study clarified that childhood female teachers have a major role in enhancing hygienic feeding culture during the meal.

The most important roles include promoting child positive behavior in feeding, explaining for children the effects of eating bad food.

Also, the results showed that there are many difficulties challenge teachers in enhancing hygienic feeding culture during the meal.

The most prominent of these difficulties are commercials for unhealthy foods, the child emulates his classmates during having a meal, and the place for having meals is not suitable for children.The study suggested a number of suggestions that help teachers to spread hygienic feeding culture and these suggestions include awareness campaigns on hygienic feeding culture for children, set a list include specifics for unhealthy food.

The study recommended that, it is important to hold training courses for teachers to increase their awareness in the field of hygienic feeding culture for the child, and the need for a family interaction with feeding culture through social media.
