The study aimed to identify the news frames adopted by CNN Arabic website, in dealing with Iraqi affairs for the period from (1/9/2018 to 31/8/2019), by identifying the media frames used by CNN Arabic website in its treatment of Iraqi matters, and to investigate the major categories covered by the website in the process of framing it's news, in addition to identifying most prominent mechanisms of news framing that the website used in dealing with Iraqi affairs.

The study adopted the Content Analysis method within the descriptive approach, while the study sample included all materials published on the website that concerns the Iraqi affairs, for the period from (9/1/2018 to 31/8/2019).

The total published materials reached 154 press articles.

The study concluded several results, the political frame came first among the most used news frame by the website, and the most applied sub-category within this frame was parliamentary legislation, the second news frame was the security, and the most applied sub-category was - ISIS-, Video content was the prominent framing mechanism used by CNN Arabic, followed by the initiation content.
