Abstract EN

This paper aims to discuss four new Musnad inscriptions with sacrificial nature dedicated by Qatabani women in the old city of Murayama in Hareeb valley to a number of gods in the city.

The significance of these inscriptions lies in their being unpublished, and it's collected from one place.

Furthermore, it provides valuable insights into the life of the Qatabani women in particular and the ancient Yemen in general.

The research paper also reveals female and male names and family names that are mentioned for the first time in the Yemeni ancient inscriptions.

Towards achieving its objective, the paper begins with an introduction that portrays the image of women in the kingdom of Qataban and the special status they had at that time.

The introduction further provides a general overview of the role played by the Qatabani woman, the religious, social and economic rights she enjoyed, the extent of her community participation and the social and religious culture she enjoyed.
