Abstract: This research entitled: (Arab media satellite television role between reality and expectations): The research use descriptive approach because it is appropriate for media studies, the tools, was questionnaire, and observation , and the research divided into five demands: first demand represents a methodological framework for research, and the second deals with the Arab satellite channels, Evolution and development, types, and the third one is talking about the reality of the Arab television media, the fourth one is the applied research study, and the fifth one includes findings, recommendations, a list of sources and references, and appendices.

The results of the study: The respondents do not follow the channels of entertainment while watching the news channels and then the sports channels and drama and movies channels, and they are not satisfied with the reality of Arab television for reasons attributed to the specialization of some Arab satellite channels in programs to make the public ignorant and non-neutralit professionalism in some news programs, And ignore what strengthens Arab solidarity and unite the fate of the nation, and the politicization of the media message.
