Abstract EN

The problem of the study was to identify the educational values included in the plays of the Arabic language courses (reading) for the students of the second seminar in Sudan.

The study aimed to identify these values.

The study sample consisted of (7) plays distributed on the second course in the reading books, (White) for analysis to reach the educational values included in the plays and the most important results were the attention of the authors of the curriculum in Sudan educational values and emphasized the set of social values and values of personal integrity and moral values more than the rest of the values, The Arabic language works to promote the positive behavior of the students.

The explicit value is high, while the implicit values are lower, and this is not commensurate with the age group of the students of the second class.

The researcher recommended directing the authors of the plays to the importance of enriching plays with different values, and the importance of subjecting the texts before the introduction in the curriculum to analyze values.
