The research aims to demonstrate the possibility of using value chain analysis information in improving logistics costs management.

The application of this model to the general facility for the manufacture of medicines and medical supplies in Samarra, Iraq, according to the data of the year 2018.

In order to verify the effectiveness of the model in managing logistics costs.

The research found that the value chain analysis technique is characterized by the ability to provide information on activities that add value and activities that do not add value and contribute reducing the costs of logistical activities.
