This research focused on shedding light on how to reduce inter-costs through the use of inter-cost management methods on the types of inter-relationships with suppliers.

he study aimed to show the effect of relations with suppliers in reducing inter-costs in the retail trade sector in Iraq he importance of this study lies in presenting the forms of inter-relationships with suppliers and methods of inter-cost management that, when applied, help the company to enhance its competitive position.

To achieve this goal, the researchers studied the theoretical framework of the Interorganization cost management, its methods, and the types of relations with suppliers.

After that, the researchers tried to address the problems presented through the application to Dar Al-Khair General Trading Company.

The most important conclusions were: The company has a variety of relationships with its suppliers, as the type of interpersonal relationships that the company brings with its suppliers has a significant impact on the rate of reduction of intra-product costs according to the application of intra-cost management methods according to the type of inter-relationship with suppliers.

Transforming the decision to purchase products from suppliers from a competitive relationship to a partnership or cooperative relationship, which leads to reducing competition among the member companies in the supply chain
