Abstract EN

This article aims to discuss the main Sovereign wealth funds in the United Arab Emirates, using the descriptive approach, and limiting the study to the three most important ones such as Abu Dhabi investment authority (ADIA), MUBADALA investment and Dubai investments.

In this study we concluded that the gulf sovereign wealth funds are at the top of the world ranking of funds, where the United Arab Emirates contains the most in terms of funds because of the financial surpluses it has.

The United Arab Emirates acquired around 14.

6% of the total assets of global sovereign wealth funds.

Abu Dhabi investment authority (ADIA), MUBADALA investment and Dubai investments, are geared towards diversifying their investments in technology, e-commerce, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as medical technology, and the agriculture and aquaculture industry, in other to increase their returns through investments in different areas, different asset classes, and its international institutions partnerships.
