Sociological studies were among the most important studies in this field.

They focused on studying the social and cultural conditions of crimes and developed various methodological techniques to understand and interpret this phenomenon.

Several social and cultural variables have been tested, and a wide range of sociological theories have been the result of these studies to explain crimes in relation to these variables.

In this context, we will present the most important socio-cultural variables of the approach to crime.
