Abstract EN

The change that had been taken place in the Arab society after coming Islam was not just a change in belief and behavior.

Rather, it transcended into an intellectual and cultural change, which in turn was reflected in Arabic literature in poetry and prose.

The poet who acquired his poetry in the pre-Islamic era and who was looking for pride and emptiness, began looking for the satisfactory of Allah and defending religion only, and what we noticed in Hassan bin Thabit's poetry is a shift in structure and vision.

According to Hassan bin Thabit, these introductions are neglected in many of his poems.

As for the subjective vision of pre-Islamic poets that was based on individualism, it turns into a collective vision for Hassan, so the exaggeration of pride, spinning, satire, and praise turns into collective tendencies that express the spirit of the group and the defense of principles and values, especially when Hassan bin Thabet.
