This study argues that the creation of a multipolar world amid the relative decline of the U.

global power is a likely prospect, based on several indications, including the establishment of significant strategic alliances between major non-western powers like that between China and Russia.

China and Russia are working together as strategic allies to both, counter the U.

S.

preeminence and pave the way for a desired multipolar world that best serves their national interests.

In this paper, the development of the Chinese-Russian relationships, their common strategic perspectives, as well as the policies they have embraced to achieve this goal are examined and analyzed.

In the end, the paper affirms that this prospect largely depends on the outcomes of various global events, such as the U.

S.
