This study attempts to restore theoretical sayings of writing concepts and their reference points of reference, linking this to the structure of transformation in the Western cognitive pattern.

The study concludes with a report of a major finding that the recrystallization of the concept of writing, in Western, critical culture, was produced by a cognitive context, characteristic of civilization in its contemporary stage, that is the postmodern context rejecting the values of the ego and the discourse of extremist rationality and the values of order, purity and identity.
