The organization of presidential elections i s subject to the administration and control of the Independent National Electoral Authority by virtue of its decisions at various stages of the electoral process.

These decisions are appealable before the Constitutional Court as electoral judge.

The Authority decisions issued in the pre-ballot stage relating to the refusal of the candidacy for the presidency of the republic can be appealed, those issued in the post-ballot phase can as well be challenged via contesting the presidential elections results.

The Monitoring Electoral Campaign Finance commission decisions can be subjected to appeal too
