Today, the extent to which countries have advanced and civilized is measured by the extent to which they preserve and respect the privacy of individuals, and the interest in the right to the sanctity of private life is increasing in a growing manner at the present time in light of the constant and continuous development of information technology, as this technology has enabled others to violate the privacy of individuals and see and disclose their secrets, especially after the spread of The use of computers, information technology means and the information network, and from here the sun of the research problem arose, and the question arose about the concept of the crime of infringing the sanctity of private life through the electronic medium and its features.

In order to answer the problem, the study relied on the analytical rooting approach based on the analysis of legal texts related to the right to privacy in Qatari law, with reliance on the method of comparison with the different legal
