Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the communication obstacles between principals and teachers at the secondary stage in the city of Benghazi and to know the statistically significant differences in the obstacles to educational communication according to the variable of gender, academic qualification and length of service for teachers and school principals.The study tools consisted of a questionnaire for teachers that consisted of (22) items, and a questionnaire for principals that consisted of (21) items.

The results showed that the most important obstacles to educational communication from the teachers, point of view were:There is a principal A biased atmosphere in which teachers feel dissatisfied, the principal neglects the teachers opinion and the most important obstacles to educational communication from the principals, point of view were : The principal creates a biased atmosphere in which teachers feel dissatisfaction, the principal neglects the teachers, opinion and the most important obstacles to educational communication from the principals, point of view were : teachers resent the principals supervisory visits, teachers are reluctant to communicate with the principal on his various occasions.

There are no statistically significant differences in the obstacles to educational communication, whether among teachers or principals, due to the variables of educational qualification and length of service.
