Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the family’s contribution to the creation and development of entrepreneurial activity, and to clarify the various forms of initiatives undertaken by the family in order to encourage the establishment of businesses and the various forms of support that they provide to the children of contractors.

The study adopted the field research method using a questionnaire tool to interrogate a sample of 207 respondents.

This study has found that the Algerian family has a great role in encouraging children’s orientation towards the entrepreneurial activity, through choosing the nature of the activity, providing material and moral support and participating in facing the challenges faced by the children of entrepreneurs, especially females
