We try through the pages of this research to talk about the role of Maliki sect and its impact on the establishment of the Almoravid state, which was established from the beginning on a religious ideological basis based on the religious call of the Maliki sect, led by religious scholar Abdullah Ibn Yassin.

We also refer to the reasons why the Almoravids preferred the Maliki doctrine over other doctrines in their call and state, besides the doctrinal foundations on which the Rule of the Almoravid state was based, including the re-establishment and revival of the principles of the true Islamic religion in accordance with the teachings of the Maliki doctrine, and the realization of the idea of sectarian monotheism of the Maghreb and Al-Andalus, and the implications and manifestations of adherence to the teachings of the Maliki doctrine in the state and the Almoravid society, the most important of which are: strict application of the provisions of religion, reliance on scholars and jurists in the management of state affairs, the passion of the Almoravids in science and understanding in religion, and other aspects.
