The “container” symbolizes death and the blockade toward which the Palestinian people were headed as a result of the 1948 Nakba.

The “container” symbolizes the experiences of the Palestinian people, all of whom shared the experience of time being suspended, of life outside of history, of a life in which they are waiting for something over which they have no control.

They feel exiled from both place and time, and strangers in their own native land.

The duty of Palestinians is to bang on the walls of the “container” and destroy it.

To battle for their lives, their honor and their freedom.

Their duty is to cry out to the world to change their reality, before they become lifeless bodies.

The solution to the Palestinian problem must come from within and by the masses and not from outside and by individuals, because an external solution engendered by individuals is fated to fail.

The Palestinian nation must not remain quiet and must not search for a solution in wandering to another country.

The duty of the coming generations is not to be quiet about such behavior.

Their duty is to offer constructive criticism about their weak leadership.

And their duty is to choose the appropriate leadership that will bring about salvation and independence
