Abstract EN

This research aims to show the different knowledge sources that influence (and are influenced by) the linguistic studies; because the knowledge sciences serve and integrate with each other to build human knowledge.

The research based on deductive method by studying the different sciences that intersect with language studies to highlight the linguistic strips which has influences on linguistic studies and giving some examples to support that.

The research concluded that linguistics studies are affected by different sciences like: math, physics, engineering, sociology, and some philosophies and theories, Darwin's theory.

The influence was found to be manifested in the curriculum, concepts, and results.
