Abstract EN

The Ottoman judiciary represented an important aspect of the history of the Ottoman Empire, so the reforms that took place in the Ottoman Empire 1839-1879 AD focused on several joints of the judicial system, Thus the research dealt with one of the most important joints of the judicial institution represented by the Supreme Council of Supreme Judgments as the first regular court established in the Ottoman Empire and included its three grades.

The Council had a prominent role in stabilizing the pillars of the judicial system according to the modern judicial system, which the state resorted to its followers.
