Abstract EN

The importance of studying the customs and traditions of the Palestinian city in the Mamluk era lies in its focus on the most important rituals, beliefs and daily practices of the residents of Jerusalem, in order to identify the impact that the Mamluks left on the reality and topography of the cities of Jerusalem, which in turn left an impact on the activities of civil society.

To achieve this, the research was divided into two sections.

The first deals with the definition of the Mamluks linguistically and idiomatically, their upbringing and their impact on society, while the second section touched on the most important social customs and traditions in the city, their rituals and rituals.

And then the conclusion and the results that emerged and a list of sources and references.
