Financial resources are an important resource for any country, because it is considered one of the most important components of an economic state.

What interests us in this matter is the financial resources of the Ilkhanid Mongol state.

Those resources that the Ilkhanid state inherited from previous governments, especially the Abbasid Caliphate, that were divided into several parts, including taxes.

Confiscations and currency manipulation, in addition to other resources, Moreover, the Mongols did not distinguish between resources.

Whether legal or illegal, as their main interest was to obtain more money by all means.

We focused in our research on the most prominent financial resources of the Ilkhanate state from taxes, which included several types, including land or tax tax, capital or tribute tax, home and real estate tax, market taxes, stamps and graves, or pasture tax and the state's share of endowments.

The Mongolian Ilkhanate state has other financial resources represented in fraudulent money and confiscation of employees and lands of opponents of Mongol rule.
