Abstract EN

The present study aims to highlight the role of public policies to reduce the administrative burdens (information and bureaucratic costs) on business, and the success of the state's efforts in developing investment and the national economy, This topic was examined by asking the following main question: have the public regulatory policies created a favorable climate for investment and doing business in Algeria? To answer this question, the author followed the descriptive analysis method to review the literature review and the newly published studies, beside the relevant international reports, After an analysis of these data, The author concluded that a lack of government efficiency in the definition of public policies and the mechanisms for implementing regulatory policy related to market liberalization and the improvement of the investment climate, This is illustrated by weaker results to the indicators of good governance in Algeria.
