Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to attempt to identify the effects of the Covid- 19 pandemic on the labour markets of the Arab States and the accompanying partial and complete closure of economic institutions, and to analyse the labour market policies adopted by the Arab States to deal with the consequences of the pandemic.

The recent economic crisis caused by the Corona virus has caused millions of workers to lose their jobs.

The spread of the epidemic has led to a decline in employment opportunities in all sectors.

We found through research that the rapid spread of the corona virus contributed significantly to the loss of jobs of many people, as well as to the damage or bankruptcy of a number of economic institutions.
