Abstract EN

This study aimed to identifying the role of Core Competencies in achieving Outstanding Performance of economic institutions, by studying the case of the Port institution in Skikda.

To achieve the objective, a questionnaire was designed for the purpose of data collection, distributed to a random sample of (65) administrative workers.

The descriptive analytical approach has been used.

The statistical package for social sciences SPSS was used to Analysis the questionnaire data.

A number of results have been reached, the most important of which is the existence of a statistically significant relationship at the level of significance α≤0.

05, which highlights the contribution of the core competencies in achieving outstanding performance of the port institution in Skikda.

In the light of these results, a number of recommendations were formulated to inform the reality of the regulatory work in the port institution in Skikda.
