Abstract EN

The Corona pandemic crisis posed a major challenge to public relations in the Iraqi Ministry of Health because of the seriousness of the pandemic as it affects the lives of the masses, the expansion of its spread and the accompanying social, economic and psychological repercussions on individuals and society in general.

The Ministry of Health ran a public relations campaign in its handling of the pandemic through various media, and after more than a year has passed since this campaign, it must be evaluated and the public's opinions of the extent of its success or failure must be known.

This research aims to evaluate the aforementioned campaign from the viewpoint of selected academic, cultural and media elites, as they represent the most conscious groups in society.

The research consists of a methodological and theoretical framework, as well as a field study based on a questionnaire form specific to the research problem, and the research came out with a set of results, conclusions and recommendations
