The protection of the environment is one of the problems that the world faces at the present time, and it is no longer the problem of environmental pollution and the depletion of its resources in general most of the interest of the industrially developed countries only, but the great importance of the agricultural field appeared when it was used in the industrial field.

They are used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Since the use of plant varieties in the medicine industry, major industrial companies have been interested in this field because of the huge profits it makes from selling medicine, but developed countries did not feel the importance of protecting these items in the beginning because they were obtained mostly from developing countries.

And the poor, which is the main habitat for these varieties.

The importance of the research has emerged to research that plant works must be protected, preserved, preserved, developed and promoted, and not to violate them or the rights of their owners, and that is by setting the general legal framework for them.

Accordingly, the research consists of two topics as follows: The first topic: the definition of plant varieties, which is one of the works resulting from an intellectual effort of a person or from efforts to develop previous products and improve them for others.

These varieties must be subject to the protection of the law from any aggression against them by others and because of the importance of this issue, The second topic: international and national legislations in the protection of plant works, which most countries have fully convinced of the necessity to remedy the great danger resulting from acts of aggression against the integrity of the natural environment in general and the protection of plant works in particular.

Of conferences and conventions on plants, however, legislation in many countries is dominated by the nature of prevention, direction and guidance, and despite that, it was not without civil or administrative sanctions, and the researcher reached a set of results, which is the problem of legal protection of plant varieties and the concepts and data summarized in the matter of reality.

The most important results are: 1 - That the legal protection for plant varieties is the preservation of these works and the breeder of them from any assault or damage to them.2 - That the environmental criminal rule is of a special nature and has autonomy completely different from the traditional criminal rule, whose elements are supposed to be stable and stable with regard to the elements of the prohibition.

The researcher reached several proposals: 1 - That the new law, the Forestry Law No.

(30) of 2009, despite its novelty, still needs a lot of addition, especially in the field of plants or new works, as these works require precise details to work for and complete legal protection for them.

2 - The procedural reality that is followed in registering plant works needs a lot of governmental support, as well as agricultural cultural awareness in order to activate the umbrella of legal protection.
