Abstract EN

This study aims to analyze the importance of economic diversification to get out of dependence on the hydrocarbon sector.

This study was based on the descriptive and analytical approach in order to understand the different aspects of this subject, according to the following methodology: First, the theoretical framework on economic diversification, second, the context of economic diversification in Algeria.

third, the analysis of the factors and determinants of economic diversification.

The study concluded that the need for economic diversification, by exploiting the potentials of the industrial and agricultural sector, by modernizing the private sector and by diversifying exports.

For the process of economic diversification to be successful, it is necessary to create an institutional framework that supports economic growth.
