Abstract EN

This paper studies the impact of health spending on health policy outcomes in Algeria during the period 1990-2017, using an autoregressive model of divergent gaps in order to examine the co-interference between the variables.

The impact of health spending as a percentage of GDP and economic growth on health policy outcomes was analyzed and the mortality rate for children under the age of five was taken.

The study showed that the impact of health spending has a negative relationship with the mortality rate of children under the age of five, and the study concluded that positive results can be achieved in the health sector if health spending is used in an efficient, effective, transparent and fair manner to ensure raising the level of economic growth
