Abstract EN

the aim of the study is to investigate the degree of exacerbation of the phenomenon of violence against children, especially in algeria at the time of the spread of the global epidemic corona (the new covid 19) as well as the restrictions imposed by the comprehensive closure adopted by the algerian government as a way to limit the spread of the global epedemic.

in achieving this scientific goal, the study used the descriptive and analytical method through analyzing the previous theoretical literature on violence against children, as well as, studying the results of a number of studies and field reports conducted by a number of researchers during the spread of the corona pandemic (emerging covid 19) interested in the children's affairs and issues.

the results of the study overall, the study concluded that the algerian child, in particular belonging to the isolated, marginalized and poor classes was a victim and abuse practiced on him by members close to him in the family and from strangers to him in the neighborhood or across the virtual world, and that this violence left traces on aspects of his health.
