The Algerian cities in general and specifically the city of Guelma are considered a product of the urban human interaction with its environment through various stages of its development and urban development, and by observing the urban area of this city, it is clear how the socio cultural constructivism of the society affects its urban area, which produced a great diversity of products and urban patterns.

This is what is discussed in this study through the presentation and analysis of the following points: -Socio-cultural construction of urban communities- The process of the phenomenon of urbanism in Algeria and its relation to the social, cultural and political transformations in society- Social morphology and socio-cultural constructivism of the urban society in the city of Guelma and their reflections on the urban pattern.
