it occurs in developing countries for reasons of insufficient economic growth in pursuing population growth and as a result of the inability of local savings to finance the investments needed to provide employment opportunities.

Jordan seeks to try to eliminate the structural imbalance in the Jordanian economy.

through macroeconomic policies and we seek to achieve a set of economic goals, the most important of which is achieving economic growth to provide job opportunities, treat the problem of unemployment and raise the standard of living.

therefore, the development of this problem must be studied and the causes of it must be studied and some solution proposals attempted.

the research aimed to identify a review of the development of unemployment in Jordan through the data of the statistical yearbook issued by the general statistics directorate.
