Abstract EN

This study looks forward to answering the following problem: What is the history of the scientific inductive method for Muslim scholars? What are the illuminating signs that Ibn Khaldun added to the scientific method in the reality of the Arab-Islamic civilization at the time? The main objective of this study is to confirm that Islam is the law of the worlds, as Muslim scholars took it as a reference and presented their clear conception of human life as a positive and complete structure in and of itself, based on the principle of succession in which man was honored with substance, mind and spirit.

The importance of the study lies in the epistemological questioning of the scientific method that Muslim scholars followed on the basis of piety, science, and the principle of spiritual and social change that included their approach.

They produced reasonable and acceptable analyzes of human life over time and place, and then the certainty of their superiority over the West and its crude empirical tendency bound by problems and solutions, some of which negate each other.

The study relied on the descriptive-analytical method and the comparative historical method by describing the characteristics, conditions, and history of the scientific method for Muslim scholars and making deep comparisons between Western and Arab intellectuals and the limits of confidence in both in order to reach scientific certainty.
