Abstract EN

Through this research paper, we aim to shed light on the problem of sexual abuse against mentally handicapped children.

It is a problem that is difficult to detect in reality because it is a cover-up crime in Algerian society due to the characteristics and composition of the society that considers such topics as taboos, as well as the nature and characteristics of individuals with disabilities that are taking place.

Their exploitation, either because of their lack of mental capabilities or due to other disabilities that prevent disclosure of the abuse, so we aim through this study to reveal the nature of this abuse and the causes of these attacks and to give solutions to protect this group of society.
