The Arab world witnessed major political changes, the most prominent of which was the movement that Tunisia witnessed, but the signs and accumulations that led to them came over many years, as the latter witnessed an overlapping set of reasons that pressured the people and pushed them to break their long silence from the economic, social and political conditions.

And among the outcomes of the movement in Tunisia is the return of the Islamic movements, political Islam, as they were the primary beneficiaries of these changes, although they were not the main engine of the various protests that the country has known.

Perhaps what explains the benefits of these movements, like the Ennahda movement in Tunisia, is the nature of the elites, leadership, and strategies that the movement followed to manage the transitional phase, which will lead to its continuation within the Tunisian political scene.
