Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying Jordanian private schools' practice degree of diversity management and its relationship with teachers' intellectual openness from their perspective .the study adapted a descriptive approach, and it applied two questionnaires.

the first questionnaire examined the Jordanian private schools' practice degree of diversity management, and it consists of twenty-six items related to four dimensions, which are leadership, management processes, work environment and human relationships.

the second one examined teachers' intellectual openness level from their perspective, and it consisted thirty items on five dimensions, which are creativity, aesthetics, emotions, new ideas and values and culture.

the population of the study consisted of 5020 male and female teachers working in the private schools in al-Jama 'a educational district in Amman-Jordan .the results of the study indicated that the degree of Jordanian private schools' practice of diversity management, teacher intellectual openness from their perspective as well as the relationship between this practice and teachers' intellectual openness was average.

a few recommendations were made:developing training programs on the application of diversity management principles in order to improve teacher intellectual openness.the activation of regulating legislations in private schools environment to achieve the principles of diversity management and better teachers' levels of intellectual openness.
