Morocco launched its relations with the Netherlands early in the history of modern age, which was framed by a series of major agreements.

These agreements were concerned with all fields of exchange along with political, commercial, military,cultural and legislative cooperation, starting with the Convention of December 24th, 1610 AD, which was the first legal basis on which the relations between the two sides were generally based.

The Embassy missions that were established between the two countries supported and contributed to the consolidation of these relations, whose objectives varied according to the different purposes of the sultans and rulers.

In order to promote its long-standing historical relationship with Netherlands during the 19th century, Morocco relied on a number of figures who were distinguished by background knowledge and personal qualifications to lead in negotiations.

In this study, we will try to uncover the most prominent figures who have had a prominent role within Morocco's "diplomacy" system in general, and whose expertise and experiences have contributed to the normalization of the diplomatic relations between Morocco and Holland in particular.
