It is known that writing history depends on the variety of approaches according to the different patterns of historical writing and their approaches.

Hence, it emerged what is called historical schools where oriental studies looked at all aspects of civilization, political, philosophical, religious and economic.

There were special orientations for each orientalist school among those schools, is the American school which is our issue in this research paper.

American orientalist is an extension of European orientalism after the Second World War, and it is one of the most prominent orientalist schools that have come to define the relationship between the West Christianity and the Islamic East.

American orientalist is a psychological warfare and it is a conflict, war of names, descriptions and terms.

It is a true reflection of the relationship between East and West.

The American school is like the other schools, was characterized by a specific approach and a group of personalities who emerged on the scene with their thoughts and scientific production, through this intervention, we will address the following problematic: The emergence of American school its pioneers and their historical approach and the most important fields of their writing?
