The fielde of historical studies underwent many transformations during the nineteenth century as a result of the emergence of historical school that differed in their view of history and research methods in it.

and perhaps among the most important of these schools stands out the French annals school, which , through the new theories established by its pioneers, was able to change the prevailing view of history befor, the method of historical research developed and knew other more comprehensive dimensionsm and that development would not have happened without the effort made by some thinkers such as mark block and fernand braudel and on this basis this study came to trace the contributions of the ferench annals school , by focusing on the efforts made by some thikers such as marck blok and fernand braudel , so that we will review the most important theories that were theories that were called for as we conclude its impact on the method of historical research .
